Move Underground, Nick Mamatas. Night Shade, 2004. Trade edition. What in the hell? I quit reading after suffering through half this short book. I got the distinct impression the author was writing the story to show what he could do with literary style. So, inevitably, the story took second place to the words and after a couple hours of these words I just couldn't take it any longer. A shame, too, because it was kind of interesting how he was weaving the Lovecraft stuff in a modern day setting.
